Thank you for participating in our inaugural Podiatry Symposium 2008. The symposium ended on 26 May, 2008. We hope you have benefited from this programme and have gained insights from various angles and points of view.

This year, we are privileged to have Mr. Craig Payne, Senior lecturer in the Department of Podiatry, La Trobe University, Australia as our guest speaker for this conference. He conducted the post conference workshop as well which include a hands on approach to examining the lower limb and the latest theories in the construction of foot orthotic devices.

Besides Mr Payne, we had other speakers who provided valuable insights from the sports physician to the orthopaedic surgeon, podiatrist, physiotherapists and also the traditional Chinese acupuncturist.

It is my belief that all who participated in the symposium have taken home with them further knowledge, skills and experiences which would aid them in delivering high standards of healthcare.

The symposium received positive feedback and its success far exceeded our expectations. All in all, we achieved an impressive attendance of more than 120 delegates over three days.
